Angus Younga returns after a brief intermission with JUDGEMENT DAY 1, the first instalment in a series of EP’s by the Melbourne MC, paired with production from a different beat smith on each release. Straight off the bat, YOUNGA teams up with long time collaborator and GRHYME PRODUCTIONS label-mate ROYALZ, bringing a history forged on previous releases worked on together, and complimented by separate projects in their own rights.

But JUDGEMENT DAY 1 is no nostalgic trip down memory lane. Both YOUNGA and ROYALZ combine matured tastes in music with a renewed vigour, whilst YOUNGA speaks on lived-experience and societal-observations with witty punchlines and vivid imagery.

Delivered with honesty, character and always a touch of humour, ANGUS YOUNGA brings style back to the forefront with his first single “FRESH & CLEAN” featuring DJ ELEV8, who also provides cuts on 3 other tracks. Guest SCOTT SKILLS joins YOUNGA for “O.G HUSKY BROTHERS ‘19” an ode to self-reflection and awareness paired with a reminder to new jacks that the skills ain’t ever lacking.

8 tracks deep, JUDGEMENT DAY 1 showcases a fired up ANGUS YOUNGA matured like a fine wine, and skills sharper than an aged cheddar, as illustrated in the second single “CHEESE BOARDS”.
